Armed Robberies
On Sunday, September 27th at 11:51 PM, the Weld County Dispatch Center received a call of an armed robbery at the 7- eleven gas station in the 2500 block of 11th avenue.
Greeley Police Officers responded to the location; however, the male suspects had gotten away with cash from the register after pointing a black handgun at the cashier. Officers arrived and began processing the crime scene and gathering evidence.
Shortly after this incident occurred, The Greeley Police received another call for an armed robbery at the 7-eleven gas station in the 1400 block of 9th street. The suspect and vehicle description matched the other armed robbery from earlier in the evening. One male suspect pointed a black handgun at the cashier and demanded the money from the cash register. The males made it out of the store with the cash from the register and approximately $1400 in merchandise. Officers spotted the vehicle as it was leaving the gas station and began following it.
Greeley Police Officers attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, which began fleeing from officers. After multiple armed robberies, officers pursued the vehicle. The vehicle pursuit ended shortly after the passenger tire came off the rim, and the car struck a parked Ford Explorer. Both occupants fled on foot. Officers gave chase and caught Anthonie Castle (07/30/01) right away. The other suspect, identified as Noah Cook (12/05/01), was apprehended after the K9 unit was called to assist in locating Cook.

After Cook and Castle were arrested, other reports came into dispatch that matched the same description. Officers investigated a smash and grab in the 1100 block of 16th street where Cook and Castle broke into the gas station and stole lottery tickets. We also received reports of another armed robbery in the 100 block of 22nd street, Sherry’s Markey Gas station.

Officers responded to this location and took a statement from the cashier, who was still shaken up. Cook and Castle came into the gas station where they acted like they were purchasing Gatorade and a bag of chips. Once the cash register opened, one of the males leaned over the counter and grabbed the money and ran out of the store.
If anyone has additional information please contact Detective Brown with the Greeley Police Department.
