Early morning shooting leaves one injured in Greeley

GREELEY, Colo. – On Sunday, March 27, 2022, at approximately 2:30 a.m., a Greeley Police Officer was at a local hospital for an unrelated call, when a vehicle pulled in behind them at the emergency room transporting a gunshot victim.

The victim, a 31-year-old male, was immediately rushed into surgery with life-threatening injuries. Officers located the scene of the shooting in the 2300 block of 24th Street Road.

We believe the suspects fled in an unknown vehicle well before investigators located the scene. Currently, we believe this is an isolated incident and there is no further danger to the public.

No additional information will be released today.
