Greeley Man, 36, Killed in Shooting

GREELEY, Colo. – On Saturday, November 26, at 10:00 p.m., Greeley Police officers were dispatched to a property in the 11000 block of Highway 34 reference a shooting that had just occurred and with reports of one male that had been shot.

As officers were being dispatched to the original call location, another caller stated that their friend had been shot and they were taking him to a local hospital. The victim, a 36-year-old male, was dropped off by a vehicle that then fled prior to officer’s arrival. The victim was later declared deceased after life saving measures were unsuccessful.

The investigation is still on-going. However, an arrest warrant for Second Degree Murder has been issued for Julieanne Degraff, 30. She also has additional warrants for her arrest unrelated to this incident. Degraff was last seen fleeing in a white 1990’s single cab Ford pickup and should be considered armed and dangerous.

No additional information will be released today. The identity of the victim will be released at a later time by the Weld County Coroner pending next-of-kin notifications.
