GREELEY, Colo. – On Saturday, July 2, 2022, at approximately 11:29 a.m., Greeley Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a check well-being in the 4900 block of 23rd Street Road. Officers were requested to check on the welfare of a family after concerning text messages were received.
Patrol officers arrived on scene and located three unresponsive individuals with apparent gunshot wounds. An 83-year-old male, 80-year-old female, and 61-year-old male were pronounced deceased at the scene. The identity of the victims will be released by the Weld County Coroner.
Greeley officers and detectives have been and are continuing to work this investigation. At this time, the evidence on scene suggests that this was a murder-suicide and there is no danger to the public.
