This Press Release is being distributed on behalf of the 19th judicial Critical Incident Response Team and as a follow up to the original release from yesterday.
On Thursday, December 15, the Weld County Coroner completed their autopsy on the deceased 26-year-old suspect from yesterday’s officer involved shooting in Hudson, Colorado. The Coroner has deemed that the suspect’s injury is consistent with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and has ruled the manner of death as suicide.

The 19th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team will continue their investigation and will update the community as additional details become available. The Weld County Coroner will release the suspect’s identity at a later time pending next-of-kin notifications.
