Robbery Investigation

GREELEY, Colo. – On Friday, August 26, 2022, at approximately 1:26 p.m., Greeley Police Officers were dispatched to a report of a robbery that occurred in the 3500 block of 29th St. Greeley Officers learned that the victim, a 26-year-old male, was in the parking lot near the Home Depot attempting to sell electronic equipment.

The Victim was contacted by a male who agreed to purchase some of the equipment. At some point during the transaction, the male produced a handgun and told the victim that he was being robbed. The male was later identified as Paul Domoracki, 45-year-old-male.

Greeley Officers responded to Domoracki’s residence in the 800 block of 35th Avenue. The suspect was observed at the residence. Greeley Officers surrounded the residence and gave commands over a loudspeaker requesting Domoracki to exit the residence. Domoracki refused at which time Greeley Police Negotiators on scene attempted to convince Domoracki to surrender. After approximately two hours of negotiations, Domoracki surrender and was taken into custody without incident. Domoracki will be booked into the Weld County Jail on charges of Robbery and Theft.
